Welcome to Ark Sailing 2013
Based on Windermere, the largest of the Lakes in the Lake District, you couldn’t wish for a more stunning backdrop to your sailing area! Bowness splits the Lake in two, The Ark is just in the north half, at the widest part of the lake. With sailing conditions always different in the north and south, we are ideally situated to get to either half.
We “follow the Wind” to get the best out of your days sailing. With 10 miles to go at it’s a great venue for all our RYA courses and a stunning place for a gentle sail around with a few friends or an evening cruise with a loved one.
At Ark Sailing we provide a wide range of opportunities, to offer as many people as possible the chance to enjoy the sport of sailing.

Welcome to the 2013 Sailing Season
Well it's been a bit of a cold and snowy start to 2013, but better to get it out of the way now, and leave the better weather for the rest of the sailing year !
With the Olympics and Paralympics over, lets hope there have been a few people inspired to take to the water. Its so easy to do and we have so many different ways in which you can get started, there's no excuse !
