Welcome to Ark Sailing 2012
Based on Windermere, the largest of the Lakes in the Lake District, you couldn’t wish for a more stunning backdrop to your sailing area! Bowness splits the Lake in two, The Ark is just in the north half, at the widest part of the lake. With sailing conditions always different in the north and south, we are ideally situated to get to either half.
We “follow the Wind” to get the best out of your days sailing. With 10 miles to go at it’s a great venue for all our RYA courses and a stunning place for a gentle sail around with a few friends or an evening cruise with a loved one.
At Ark Sailing we provide a wide range of opportunities, to offer as many people as possible the chance to enjoy the sport of sailing.
With professional instruction from highly qualified Instructors (see the Who We Are section for a bit more about us) your time with us at Ark Sailing will be both fun and informative.

The Olympic and Paralympic Year !!
Last year we managed to keep our prices the same as the year before. This year, on 1st April, there will be a slight increase in our price structure.
However......
If you book a course or sailing session for any date this year, before the 1st April, you will get it at last years price. Even if you are not sure about the dates, you can still book and sort the dates with us later in the year.
Dont forget, you can still buy Gift Vouchers for Birthdays and Special occasions.
